Nine rabbits shared small spaces in a squalid outdoor hutch. Two died. The woman who had them kept one, and gave one to someone else. We took the other five, two of which were Esther and Milly.
These two ladies were initially shy with people, but have gotten more comfortable. At first, Esther had white upside-down V’s at the base of her ears; Milly had small smudges under her eyes, so the two were easy to tell apart. Each has changed, as time has gone by, but we are still always able to tell them apart.
