Chimchim belonged to a family with three children. We don’t know how it happened, but a raccoon bit her nose, and the family left her at an animal shelter. The vet there allowed the nose to heal, leaving only one nostril to breathe through, and asked us to take her in order to determine the best path for her. Dr. Guerrera agreed that, since she can breathe easily, and is getting fully oxygenated, there is no reason to attempt anything more. She does need to be watched closely for signs of snuffles.

A sweet, friendly little bunny.
