Trixie

Trixie belonged to a young person who went to college, leaving her with her mom to care for. The mom was working 17 hour days, sometimes even on the weekends. Poor Trixie wasn’t getting the care she needed. Trixie likes people! She runs to the front of her crate for pets, if she knows the person who approaches her. She was very easy to handle when we checked her in as one of our sheltered bunnies. DOB: 2007, Weight 4.0 Lbs. / Will grow to 5-6 Lbs. (11-03-2015)

Joseph

Joseph came to us from one of the local animal shelters.  It was obvious that he lived a rough life.  His coat was stiff and harsh, and he had a lump on his abdomen (that proved to be benign).  He was also fearful of being held. We are happy to report that Joseph is improving both physically and emotionally.  He is a gentle bunny who deserves kindness and a quiet happy life. DOB:  2007, Weight:  3.97 lbs. (8-17-2015)

Toby

Toby was found in Colorado Springs by a compassionate woman who knew that he wasn’t well. She was afraid to take him to a shelter where he might be killed, and couldn’t afford a vet. She barely had gas enough to drive him to us. Poor little guy! His incisors were maloccluded and both eyes were infected. He had a terrible case of skin mites, and one ear was infected. He looked miserable. We went to work immediately, treating him and making him as comfortable as we could. Toby is one of the...

Justin

Justin was living in a trailer on a property with no water. He was being fed only pellets. His nails were very long, and his incisors weren’t growing properly. Rescued by a compassionate woman, Justin is now getting good care. He has a loving personality! We jokingly say that if someone would pet him long enough, he’d die of starvation because he never wants to interrupt a petting session. Justin is quiet, gentle and very affectionate. He really deserves being well cared for the rest of hi...

Sonia and Terry

Sonya was a stray, taken to a shelter, and from there, she came to us when only about 3 months old. Sonya comes running for treats, and is easily held. She enjoys attention and petting. Very lively. Terrell was one of eight babies born to Twinkle in a carrier when she was being transported from an animal shelter to us. What a surprise it was to find a nest of eight beautiful newborns at the back of the carrier! When fostered, Terrell went into his crate when asked to. When his fosterer lay...
