Gregory and Gretchen

Someone released two intact rabbits and moved away. The rabbits did what rabbits do so well—they multiplied. Our fabulous Bunny Brigade caught 41 of them, these three being among them.  They are young enough that we don’t know exactly what their personalities will, but now, they’re comfortable with people. Heath

Heath had taken up residence in someone’s back yard, but when winter threatened a deep cold, the woman called us to help. Our Bunny Brigade easily caught this big bunn.  Heath apparently belonged to someone - he was already neutered and accustomed to being held, as he proved when we checked him in. What a sweetheart! DOB:       2013 Sex:         MALE Breed:    NEW ZEALAND MIX Color:    WHITE Index:    16-128 Weight: 7 lb. 15 oz.

Anthony

Anthony came to us from a home where he was deeply loved and very well cared for. Sadly, there was domestic violence, and the family had to move away from the abuser into an apartment that did not allow rabbits.  Anthony is accustomed to being held and played with. He especially enjoys being held in the “baby doll” position, on his back in someone’s arms. A sweetheart! DOB:   2014 Sex:     MALE Breed: MIX Color:  GREY & WHITE Index:  16-127

Colin

While our Bunny Brigade was catching the “Greeley Rabbits,” they learned that another Greeley rabbit had been taken to Weld County Animal Shelter; so they brought him too.  This big, sweet fellow has lived a hard life. It’s our intention to give him a good diet and gentle interaction with humans so he has reason to be the happy, enthusiastic bunn he is meant to be. Lauren

A compassionate woman found Lauren near a dumpster with a few pieces of lettuce around her. The woman took her in and contacted us because she couldn’t provide a permanent home.  Lauren “fake charges” when a human reaches into her crate. (She doesn’t bite or scratch hoping her charge will make the human leave.) Once she’s been picked up, she’s a sweetheart. She’s a little bunny-bud just about to blossom! Aletha

Rescued by a woman who knew little about rabbits, Aletha wouldn’t be friendly. When the family became jobless, Aletha needed to go where she could be cared for. That’s when she came to us.  Aletha may be shy initially when a human approaches. Once picked up, she is easily handled and very cooperative. She’s all ready to burst into bloom once she has a permanent home. DOB:   LATE 2015 Sex:     FEMALE Breed: MIX Color:  PALE BUTTERSCOTCH Index:  16-113

Eeyore

Eeyore was a 4-H project. Of course, the 4-H’er left home a few years later. Then Eeyore’s mate died. The mother of the 4-H’er knew that he needed a new partner, but she wanted no part of it, and so he came to us.  Eeyore doesn’t always want to come to the front of his crate to meet people, but once he’s been picked up, he’s very cooperative. A really sweet little man! DOB:   2010 Sex:     MALE Breed: HOLLAND LOP Color:  GREY & BROWN Index:  16-111
