Lorie

The Cheyenne, WY shelter called us to help with 26 rabbits who had been left in their night drop! We suggested other animal shelters, and took four of them, one of which is Lorie.  Lorie became pregnant the night she was dumped with intact males in the night drop. Fortunately for us she gave birth to only three babies.   Lorie is comfortable being handled, and enjoys people. DOB:     LATE 2014 Sex:       FEMALE Breed:  MINI-LOP Color:   AGOUTI Index:   16-0...

Chester and Chapman

Charmer came to us from a shelter the day after she produced a litter of babies.   Chester and Chapman were two of these.  These two are calm bunnies (although they also love to race around). They’re easily held, too, and will make someone a very nice family addition.  Name: CHESTER                        CHAPMAN DOB:    2/25/2016                       2/25/2016 Sex:      MALE                                MALE Breed: MIX                                   MIX Color: LIGHT AGOU...

Rex and Rocky

Rex and Rocky had the same mom and possibly the same dad. Their mom, Rhea, was a stray with two intact males. Over three months, she gave birth to three litters of bunnies. Rex was from the first litter and Rocky from the third.  The two are happy, playful rabbits, who enjoy being petted, and are easily picked up, once they know that the person picking them up knows how to do it properly, so they feel secure.  Name: REX                                   ROCKY DOB:  APRI...

Sachiko

Sachiko (Japanese for “child of joy”) was left, with seven other rabbits in the night drop of Cheyenne, Wyoming’s Humane Society. Apparently, her mother licked her ear off when she was cleaning her up right after birth. That can happen with a new, inexperienced bunny mom. Sachiko is one of those incredible rabbits who simply adore humans. She runs to the front of her crate whenever someone stops by, and it doesn’t matter to her whether she’s getting a treat or being loved on. DOB: November...

Arthur

Someone dumped this sweet bunny, but a compassionate neighbor rescued him, and brought him to us.   Arthur is very lively and he wants attention, NOW! In fact, if you put your fingers through the bars to pet him, it looks like he’s trying to bite you, but he isn’t. He’s trying to get you to open the crate door and scratch his neck and jaws. And please, never stop! DOB: November 2014, Weight: 4.4 Lbs. (08-09-2016)

Leonard

Leonard belonged to a couple who hadn’t the means to pay for his veterinary treatment, when he developed head tilt, so they relinquished him to the veterinarian, who then asked us to take him. Leonard is one big, loving bunn, good about being picked up, and taking medication. He recovered nicely from head-tilt, but then developed conjunctivitis of both eyes, and an infection in his right ear. Ear infections are the bane of English lops, because the ears drag on the ground, pull infection into t...

Andre

Andre had been in an animal shelter a little too long, so he came to us.  He’s a delightful little fellow, with mostly short hair, but a mane and a few “tail feathers,” all of which is easily groomed. Friendly and lively. DOB: July 2015, Weight: 5.56 Lbs. (06-01-2016)

The Cheyenne, WY shelter called us to help with 26 rabbits who had been left in their night drop! We suggested other animal shelters, and took four of them, two of which are Lisa and Laurie.  Fortunately, Lisa has a tattoo in her left ear; Laurie does not. So you can tell the two apart. Of course, once you get to know them, you’ll be able to tell them by their personalities. Both are comfortable being handled, and enjoy people. Lisa: DOB: Late 2014, Weight: 5.01 Lb...

Randal and Robbie

The Cheyenne, WY shelter called us to help with 26 rabbits who had been left in their night drop! We suggested other animal shelters, and took four of them two of which are Randall and Robbie.  Once you get past how adorable these two are, you’ll find that they are typical young lop males—busy, curious, happy, snuggly, and funny.
