Rorrie and Robbie

These two brothers came to us from an animal shelter. One of them has a heart murmur, but we don’t expect it to shorten his  life. These two beautiful chinchilla bunnies came to us unaccustomed with handling. They are very happy to be petted, but don’t like being picked up. We hope to change this with positive reinforcement. Ruby

Ruby had been adopted to be a companion for another female rabbit, but the two didn’t along. So, Ruby came to us, and we found a male for the rabbit that Ruby didn’t get along with. Ruby is very friendly. She runs to the front of her crate to greet anyone who offers to pet her, and she’s very comfortable being handled. All in all, a very pretty and very sweet bunny! Kevin

Name: Kevin DOB: EARLY 2011 Sex: MALE Breed: MIX Color: GREY Index: 17-027 Kevin was brought to us by a woman who didn’t know how to care for him and had no room for him. We think someone dumped him on her. Kevin is to die for! Very easily handled and friendly. He usually runs to the front of his crate to greet humans who pass by or stop to say “Hi!” Since he has no teeth, he needs his hard vegetables cut into little pieces. 3#-9

Hope

Sweet Hope was confiscated from a dreadful place. She was beginning to have head-tilt, so they put her on an antibiotic, but stopped after her head came up in a week. Then, of course, because the antibiotic was stopped, her head tilted again and stayed that way. Hope is a very sweet, gentle lady. She loves attention, if you’re looking for a bunny who enjoys attention, forget her head tilt, and take her home. DOB: 2014, Sex: Female: Breed: Californian, Color: White w/ Black Points, Wt: 9.6 ...

Zeus

Zeus was taken to an animal shelter because his human took him to a veterinarian who didn’t know how to treat abscesses in rabbits. After spending all she could afford, with no success, she surrendered him. Zeus arrived with a face full of abscesses. The use of penicillin, and surgery to remove the abscesses, he’s now “right as rain.” What a delight this little guy is! Loving, lively, gentle and wild are some words that describe him. Sally Anne

Sally Anne came from an animal shelter. Being “abused” (maybe by children not taught to be gentle) and kept in a tiny cage, she arrived terrified of people. When placed in her crate here, she seemed amazed, turning and turning, to explore the “huge” space. Over time, she is getting more and more comfortable with being handled. Ashton

Ashton was left outside the door of our Bunny Barn, covered in Fleas, when we were already overflowing, forcing others on our waiting list to wait even longer. How selfish and rude! At least, they gave us his date of birth.  Ashton is a big, gentle, and friendly fellow, who enjoys attention. If you’re strong enough to handle his bulk, he’s easily handled. He’s so appealing that he probably won’t be here long. DOB: June 6, 2015, Weight: 9.6 Lbs, Breed: Rex, Sex: Male, In...
