Bigelow

Bigelow needed dental work every few weeks which his human couldn’t afford it. We took him in, hoping that with expert dental care, he wouldn’t need to see the vet so often.  Bigelow is a sweet bunny, but startles easily. We have yet to determine if he is deaf.  DOB:      10/15/14 Sex:         MALE Breed:    MINI-LOP Color:     MEDIUM BROWN Index:     16-130 Weight: 4 lb. 5 oz.

Hammond

Hammond and his brother, Herbie, were abandoned in an apartment. They were found in the nick of time (they were out of food and water) by the apartment manager.  Hammond is a character. Unable to get this, he begs anyone who comes close to him, to pet him.   DOB:     SEPT, 2015 Sex:        MALE Breed:   MINI-LOP Color:    WHITE AND GREY Index:    16-091 Weight: 3 lb. 11 oz

Lorie

The Cheyenne, WY shelter called us to help with 26 rabbits who had been left in their night drop! We suggested other animal shelters, and took four of them, one of which is Lorie.  Lorie became pregnant the night she was dumped with intact males in the night drop. Fortunately for us she gave birth to only three babies.   Lorie is comfortable being handled, and enjoys people. DOB:     LATE 2014 Sex:       FEMALE Breed:  MINI-LOP Color:   AGOUTI Index:   16-0...

Rex and Rocky

Rex and Rocky had the same mom and possibly the same dad. Their mom, Rhea, was a stray with two intact males. Over three months, she gave birth to three litters of bunnies. Rex was from the first litter and Rocky from the third.  The two are happy, playful rabbits, who enjoy being petted, and are easily picked up, once they know that the person picking them up knows how to do it properly, so they feel secure.  Name: REX                                   ROCKY DOB:  APRI...

Sachiko

Sachiko (Japanese for “child of joy”) was left, with seven other rabbits in the night drop of Cheyenne, Wyoming’s Humane Society. Apparently, her mother licked her ear off when she was cleaning her up right after birth. That can happen with a new, inexperienced bunny mom. Sachiko is one of those incredible rabbits who simply adore humans. She runs to the front of her crate whenever someone stops by, and it doesn’t matter to her whether she’s getting a treat or being loved on. DOB: November...
