Rorrie and Robbie

These two brothers came to us from an animal shelter. One of them has a heart murmur, but we don’t expect it to shorten his  life. These two beautiful chinchilla bunnies came to us unaccustomed with handling. They are very happy to be petted, but don’t like being picked up. We hope to change this with positive reinforcement. Rodney

Rodney was dumped by people who knew we had no room for him. He might have died in the carrier, because he was left in a place where we might never have seen him. Of course, we don’t hold the actions of his people against Rodney. He’s a sweet boy, who likes attention, and allows himself to be picked up without a struggle. Ruby

Ruby had been adopted to be a companion for another female rabbit, but the two didn’t along. So, Ruby came to us, and we found a male for the rabbit that Ruby didn’t get along with. Ruby is very friendly. She runs to the front of her crate to greet anyone who offers to pet her, and she’s very comfortable being handled. All in all, a very pretty and very sweet bunny! Gem

Gem was our first “Easter Bunny” this year. She was left in a plastic box in a parking lot, where someone found her and brought her to us. What a beautiful rabbit Gem will be—solid black velvet! It’s too early to know what her adult personality will be, but she’s a wonderful little creature now—doesn’t mind being picked up and loved on. Ashley

Ashley came to us after a young man dumped her on his mom. Ashley is a wild little thing! She’s very territorial—touch any of her “stuff” and she’ll lunge at you, and may bite. But once you get her in your arms, she settles down, and enjoys some lovin’. DOB: January 2016, Sex: Female, Breed: Mini-Lop, Color: Grey, Wt 4.3 Lbs, Index: 17-019

Izzy

Izzy was given to a woman who wanted an older rabbit for her boy bunny. Sadly, the boy bunny died soon after the two were paired, and then the woman encountered problems, making it necessary to give Izzy up. Izzy is an extremely sweet little love. She’s easily picked up, and almost immediately begins giving kisses. DOB:2010, Sex: Female, Breed: Netherland Dwarf, Color: Brown / White, Wt: 2.1 Lbs, Index: 17-018

Hope

Sweet Hope was confiscated from a dreadful place. She was beginning to have head-tilt, so they put her on an antibiotic, but stopped after her head came up in a week. Then, of course, because the antibiotic was stopped, her head tilted again and stayed that way. Hope is a very sweet, gentle lady. She loves attention, if you’re looking for a bunny who enjoys attention, forget her head tilt, and take her home. DOB: 2014, Sex: Female: Breed: Californian, Color: White w/ Black Points, Wt: 9.6 ...
