A young woman named Audra spent two hours trying to catch this stray bunny, because she knew the rabbit had little chance of survival in the wild. We named the bunny after her rescuer. 

Audra is gentle, and easily held, if she’s picked up properly, so she feels secure, and she enjoys attention from humans.  

Sadly, a lot of people overlook Californians, either because they aren’t as cute as some of the smaller rabbits, or because there seem to be a lot of them needing homes. But Californians have wonderful personalities, and shouldn’t be passed by without some serious consideration.
